Until you can prove that there is a real benefit to this hood, just admit that you're buying it for looks. That's all I want. Just for people to suck it up and admit that they buy body kits and holey hoods for looks. You need to justify the purchase by spouting off theoretical performance gains. What does that have to do with anything? Just because I don't want to blow a load of cash on an ugly(IMO of course) hood without some proof of gains doesn't mean I can't comment on it. Maybe you should research the reason for open forums. I didn't even comment on the main thread. I questioned Carlos' baseless claims of heat reduction. He did come back with some pictures and at least an anecdote, but it wasn't even for the hood in question. Your "reawakening" is a beautiful thing and all but it stinks of born-again christian BS. Somehow you expect everyone to fall in line with your way of thinking because you think you're right due to some percieved epiphany. Who is closeminded now? Just because I don't choose to blindly follow the guys who have more money than brains doesn't mean I don't see the big picture.
